My Block Inc. recording artist, JoiStaRR, brings her west coast flare to the east, as she readies to take the stage at BET’s acclaimed Music Matters showcase. The Music Matters showcase is an excellent platform for rising artists Tuesday, September 11, 2012. The intimate night features highly anticipated performances by today’s brightest, new talent. JoiStaRR has been making her performance rounds this year having played two of the largest music festivals - SXSW and then Coachella supporting Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent among others. Most recently, she headlined at On the Rox at The Roxy in Los Angeles. As JoiStaRR prepares for the release of her forthcoming album, MAGIC, she continues to write soul-stirring songs for some of the biggest names in music.
