Mary Mary’s latest album ‘Something Big’ received a Dove Award Nomination in the Urban Album of the Year category and the duo have also been selected as a finalist in the 2012 About.com Readers’ Choice awards.

Mary Mary are now on final ballot for Best Urban Gospel Artist for About.com’s Reader’s Choice and need your support by voting between now and March 21. Winners will be announced on March 30!

MARY MARY RELEASE NEW SINGLE “GO GET IT”

AND ANNOUNCE UPCOMING CD OF THE SAME NAME

The inspirational star duo, Mary Mary, have announced the release this week of their new single “Go Get It,” the title track to their upcoming album due out in May.  The phenomenal string of successes for their 2011 album, “Something Big,” which featured the smash hit, “Walking,” has secured multiple nominations and awards for a string of shows in 2011/2012 including double Grammy nominations for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Song.

As the ladies gear up for the launch of their WE tv series, which highlights the non-stop pace of sisters Erica and Tina Campbell, they joyously anticipate giving their fans a sneak peek into the day-to-day aspects of their lives. The series rolls out as Mary Mary continues to perform, tour and record new music while running busy lives on the home front. Erica and husband, producer/songwriter Warryn Campbell, balance raising three children including a newborn baby. Meanwhile Tina and husband, Ricky Minor Band drummer Teddy Campbell, balance raising a blended family of four while Teddy plays nightly on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In addition to their spouses and children, the ladies are part of a big extended family as two of nine siblings, and each individual family member has larger-than-life personalities. Through it all, the sisters remain devoted parents, loving spouses, and multi-Grammy winning superstars.

Mary Mary’s new album, set for release in May 2012 will feature two new songs including the just released single, “Go Get It.” The album will include classic Mary Mary songs that have been remixed and remastered featuring some of the duo’s greatest hits. The highly anticipated album will be sure to please old and new fans alike.

Mary Mary has been on an incredible run in the past year including securing the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award, a BET Award, Soul Train Award, Two Stellar Awards, double Grammy Award nominations as well as a nomination for a NAACP Image Award for Best Gospel Album. The year also saw partnerships with The American Red Cross and Pillsbury. Perhaps the biggest news of all is Erica and husband Warryn Campbell’s delivery of their new baby girl in late January.

Mary Mary will premier on WE tv Thursday, March 29^th at 10pm ET/PT, in a special time slot, then continues each week at 9pm ET/PT with ten, hour-long episodes. The duo looks forward to sharing a glimpse of their lives with their fans.

Erica Campbell, half of the multi-Grammy Award-winning sister duo, Mary Mary, has given birth to her new daughter. Campbell and husband, producer/songwriter Warryn Campbell welcomed their third child, Zaya Monique Campbell, on Tuesday, January 24^th, 2012. Both mother and daughter are resting comfortably.

The glowing mom was elated upon the arrival of her new baby girl. In a statement Erica said that she and her husband were “feeling so thankful and so blessed to have our sweet Zaya finally make her grand entrance into the world! God is awesome, our family couldn’t be more happy than we are today!” Zaya Monique was born at a healthy 6lbs, 12 oz.

The singer will take a few weeks to spend with her newborn before gearing up to promote Mary Mary’s new self titled WE tv reality series. The highly anticipated series premiers on Thursday, March 29^th at 10pm ET/PT, then continues each week at 9pm ET/PT with ten, hour-long episodes.

Erica Campbell worked throughout the bulk of her pregnancy with sister and duo mate, Tina Campbell, performing on nationally televised award shows such as BET’s Black Girls Rock and Centric’s Soul Train Music Awards along with performances at Macy’s Great Tree Lighting in Atlanta and Chicago’s Magnificent Mile of Lights Festival. Mary Mary also made appearances on television shows such as The Wendy Williams Show, and Good Morning America, where Campbell officially announced her pregnancy.

Proving her work ethic and dedication to the group, Campbell was ready to kick off the “Have a Mary Mary Christmas Tour” in December 2011, but at 7 months pregnant, was ordered by her doctor to slow down her pace to ensure a healthy pregnancy. The tour as a result was cancelled. Still Campbell found ways to work safely in her hometown of Los Angeles by filming the duo’s television series “Mary Mary”.

With all the accolades that Mary Mary’s current album Something Big has received including a BET Award, Soul Train Award, Two Stellar Awards, Double Grammy Nominations, and an NAACP Image Nomination, truly the greatest delight of the season has come from the arrival of little Zaya Monique.
